Mixed Seasoning for Tandoori Masala 50g SHAN
Method of preparation:
- Mix 5-6 tablespoons of lemon juice, add 1/2-1/4 teaspoon of food coloring, 1 packet of Tandoori Masala and 2 tablespoons of oil or butter. Spread on 1½ kg portions, make slits in each piece of chicken and set aside for 30 minutes.
- Whip and strain 1 cup (200g) of yogurt, then add the strained yogurt and set aside for at least 3 hours.
- Preheat oven to 180°C, place chicken pieces on a tray and pour over marinade.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25 minutes. Spread 4 tablespoons of oil or melted butter over the chicken and grill over high heat until lightly browned or grilled.
Ingredients: paprika, salt, red chilli, ginger, black pepper, cumin, large cardamom, garlic, fennel, cinnamon, papaya powder, cane sugar, acidity regulator: citric acid, sodium phosphate, anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide.
